My private cooking classes are offered in Minneapolis/St. Paul and Duluth, Minnesota. I also teach in the west coast of Southern Florida and Louisiana at select times.


Teaching cooking classes is my passion, and I have been featured on television in Duluth, offering recipes that are inspired by nature's bounty. I am the author of Cajun Cooking, Making it Easy (Wordware press 1997).


I am a certified culinary professional who has worked in the culinary world as a chef and caterer for over three decades. My vast experience has taken me to over 19 countries where I have traveled and studied the food ways of numerous cuisines. I have a portfolio career in the food world and I never stop learning new techniques to teach my students. 

I have been a restaurant owner/chef, micro food manufacturer and currently, a full-time culinary instructor. I have also been the past president of the Minnesota chapter of Les Dames d’ Escoffier, past board member of the Arrowhead Professional Chefs Association, a member of the Minnesota State Department of Health Advisory Committee, and a member of Women Who Really Cook.
